The metropolis is made up of a number of districts; the add-on Cyberpunk 2077: Specter of Freedom adds another location - Dogtown. We can also explore the sandy wastelands scattered around Night City, where nomads live in their camps. We can move around the game world on foot, as well as using cars and motorbikes. The theme of the game is quests that advance the plot, accompanied by numerous missions and side activities. These can be completed in a variety of ways, and our actions and choices will affect the course and outcome of the story. Develop your character and fight a variety of enemies While wandering around Night City and completing new quests, we often have to fight enemies. We can take them out quietly by sneaking up behind them and taking them by surprise, or by confronting them head on. Located in the Russian Tsar's sphere of influence, the city is a true melting pot, populated by Polish townspeople, Jewish merchants, and Russian soldiers, among others. Warsaw is also the terrain for the activities of the titular Taumaturgists - people gifted with supernatural abilities who can perceive esoteric beings called Salutors and use them for their needs. One of these taumaturgists is the main character of the described production, Wiktor Szulski, who comes to Warsaw to settle family matters. The protagonist uses his skills to discover the secrets of the city, as well as the secrets hidden by its inhabitants. It is worth mentioning that although the story told here does not lack fictional elements, it is enriched by the presence of real historical figures. Game mechanics In The Thaumaturge we see the action in an isometric view. In the course of the game, we travel through the Warsaw of the Partition era, completing various tasks, having conversations with characters, and making morally ambiguous decisions. During the adventure we can use the power of Salutors, which comes in handy in many situations, from exploring, manipulating characters and completing tasks to fighting enemies. Fights take place in a turn-based mode, and in them we use both conventional means (led by firearms) and the supernatural abilities of the protagonist. The latter are used not only to launch direct attacks, but also to impose negative statuses on enemies. As we progress, we develop the protagonist, allowing us to face more and more challenges over time. During the gameplay we traverse a variety of kingdoms, which are maintained in the style characteristic of certain Disney or Pixar works. In each of them we have to face numerous challenges, solve puzzles and complete the tasks set before us. All this in order to save the inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley and bring them back to the valley. The valley itself serves as a hub where we go between expeditions. To bring the place back to life, we have to rebuild it, which means building new structures (and improving the ones we already have) and decorating the area with thousands of decorative items. Nothing will stop us from enjoying a variety of activities with the rescued characters, such as working in the garden with WALL-E's help, or going fishing with Goofy. A standard mission quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival when it is discovered that the ship's employees have been murdered and bloodthirsty creatures called Necromorphs are roaming the deck. Isaac tries to find out what's behind the horror that has befallen the USS Ishimura while searching for his beloved, medical officer Nicole Brennan, who is stationed on the ship. The producers of EA Motive made sure that all the storylines of the original Dead Space are included in the remake. They expanded their context with elements known from the second and third parts of the series and comic books set in the same universe. Game Mechanics Dead Space is an action-oriented third-person survival horror game. Embedding a technical worker in the role of the main character meant that in the early stages we do not have firearms at our disposal. However, Isaac Clarke is equipped with tools that turn out to be no less deadly in combat. With their help, the protagonist can lift objects from a distance, slow down enemies or cut off their limbs. The protagonist's accessories also come in handy when solving environmental puzzles. Isaac also has a professional RIG suit with a display that shows the engineer's current health status. It allows him to work in extremely harsh conditions. It allows Clarke to explore the deck in a state of weightlessness. The game features locations from the current WRC season, as well as a few from past years. There are 78 rally cars at our disposal - 10 current models with authentic teams, drivers and colors (in the Rally1, WRC2 and Junior WRC classes) and 68 machines of various types that have gone down in the history of this motorsport discipline, such as Group B legends or front-wheel drive so-called kit cars from the 1990s. The player controls the actions of the soldiers of the Czechoslovak Legion - a real military formation formed during the First World War from prisoners and deserters of Czech and Slovak nationality who had previously belonged to the Austro-Hungarian army. The unit was caught on the wrong side of the conflict. Our task is to help them return to their homeland on the last train of the title. The tank depot serves both as a means of transportation for the soldiers through the wild, desolate, hostile terrain of Siberia - with only a little protection from the pervasive cold - and as a weapon to fight the two armies that are tearing the country apart. Game mechanics Evacuating Russia requires many stops - sometimes you run out of food or medicine, sometimes the train breaks down and you need to find a way to repair it. This is where Last Train Home becomes an RTS. The game offers more than a dozen challenging missions in which we - choosing our own tactics - have to achieve a series of predetermined goals. The ease or difficulty of achieving them depends on a number of factors. One of them is the combat potential of our soldiers - if we send them out hungry, they will be less effective than if they go out with a full stomach. The tactics we choose are also important. Some tasks can be done "quietly", reducing the likelihood of Legion members dying in battle. However, not everyone is cut out for this, so you must consider your charges' dispositions. Your decisions matter The deaths of misfits or other morally ambiguous decisions we make will manifest themselves in various statuses that affect gameplay. For example, we can decide the fate of several innocent civilians by taking them with us or not. In the first case, we will have more "mouths to feed". In the second case, our charges will develop remorse, which will have a negative effect on their morale. The title train acts as a sort of base camp. Between missions, we can repair and modify it, assigning soldiers to specific tasks - such as caring for the wounded - to ensure the best possible living conditions. This is also where we improve our troops - warriors can be decorated, and by participating in training they gain new skills (e.g. herbalism or hunting) - and equip them with better equipment acquired during missions. At each stage of this strange odyssey, we learn the stories of the soldiers under command. Their experiences also affect the gameplay - for example, projecting a tendency to depression or how they evaluate our decisions. However, Ashborne Games Studio has taken care to keep such "effects" to a minimum, so that players who want to complete Last Train Home solely for the story will not be discouraged by too high a difficulty level. Trivia Since the game is based on real events, the developers have tried to keep the game in line with historical facts. The title is a colorful action adventure game, in which we direct characters known from the movie screen. Hundreds of characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Obi Wan Kenobi, are put at our disposal. Together with them, we traverse locations, fight enemies and solve simple puzzles. Although, in principle, the gameplay formula remained unchanged, the developers introduced some modifications and additional attractions. We can freely fly ships (including the iconic Millennium Falcon) in space, as well as land on selected planets in many different locations. A considerable novelty is the combat system. The developers have developed mechanics that allow even the youngest players to play, while leaving room for more skilled players. Game modes In keeping with the traditions of the series, in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga we can play both alone and together with a friend in co-op mode.
