Samson: A Tyndalston Story for free

This brutal third-person action game is from the Just Cause series veterans and is set in a semi-open modern city. Samson primarily focuses on hand-to-hand combat and spectacular car chases, with the game driven by linear story missions. Do you think you can handle the brutal game world? Download Samson: A Tyndalston Story for free and find out.Set in the '90s Combat and character development Become King of the Road! Jobs Download Samson: A Tyndalston Story for free Samson: A Tyndalston Story system requirementsChristofer Sundberg is one of the founders of Avalanche Studios, which gained fame primarily for the Just Cause series. In 2019, he left the company, founding Liquid Swords the following year. Other veterans from his previous team later joined him, and their debut project was Samson: A Tyndalston Story, a noir action game. Set in the '90s Samson: A Tyndalston Story, tells the story of Samson McCray, who returns to the hostile American town of Tyndalston to confront his past. He's literally in debt to dangerous individuals who are forcing him to repay the loan by exploiting his sister. To save her, the protagonist must do everything in his power to obtain the required sum. Drawing heavily on the atmosphere of iconic action films like Ronin and Heat, the story emphasizes realism, genuine mass of vehicles, and brutality, setting this title apart from its Grand Theft Auto rivals. Combat and character development In Samson: A Tyndalston Story, the action is experienced from a third-person perspective. The game features the titular city, comprised of open-ended districts that can be explored on foot or in vehicles. As befits an action game, players engage in spectacular chases and hand-to-hand combat. In the combat scenes, players encounter the criminals who run the town of Tyndalston and the police who try to maintain order on its streets. The protagonist excels in close combat, eliminating enemies with his fists and kicks or improvised melee weapons, such as gas pipes. As we progress, we accumulate the funds needed to repay the debt and develop Samson. This unlocks various upgrades that increase his chances of success. Become King of the Road! This key element is overseen by Alex Williams, a designer known for his work on Mad Max. This foreshadows a gritty and physical approach to road combat. In the game, cars are more than just a means of transportation; they are true tools in the player's arsenal. Modelled after characters like John McClane from Die Hard, the protagonist must be able to improvise amidst chaos — ramming enemies with his own car will be a regular occurrence. The developers are leveraging the latest Unreal Engine 5.7 and implementing their own unique countersteer system. This system allows players to precisely control skids and drifts while maintaining the feeling of momentum and weight. Every maneuver on the tight streets of Tyndalston is satisfying. Samson's damage system moves away from simplistic energy bars in favor of realistic component destruction. Damage is directly related to the speed and mass of colliding objects, and vehicles are composed of numerous parts that can fail. Players must be prepared for a blown tire, which can drastically reduce traction, or a damaged wheel, which can impede steering and lead to a spectacular high-speed rollover. Each vehicle class, from slow but powerful vans to modified rally cars, requires a different approach and set of driving habits. The Tyndalston Police Department (TPD) is an equally crucial element of the gameplay. The TPD will respond to the player's actions. Officers have a wide range of resources at their disposal, including standard patrols, roadblocks, and helicopters. This forces us to constantly flee and change our tactics. Encounters with the law are designed to be dynamic and escalate depending on the crimes committed. This makes Tyndalston a living organism that responds to the protagonist's actions. Jobs The game is driven by the jobs accepted by the titular protagonist. Completing these jobs is necessary to repay the debt owed to the protagonist, but completing them requires action points, of which there is a limited supply. Therefore, not all money-making opportunities can be exploited, forcing us to make difficult decisions about what to pursue and what to ignore. Further complicating matters, the city constantly reacts to our actions. What we do and for whom we do it determines how individual characters treat us. Additionally, time is working against us, and the interest on the loan increases daily. We reached the summit of Mount Kami, and I can safely say that the effort was worth it. Cairn is a third-person perspective (TPP) adventure-arcade game dedicated to climbing, with survival and simulation elements. It was developed by The Game Bakers, who also developed Furi and Haven. Are you looking for a thrill? You can download Cairn for free here.Story Gameplay Game modes Successful launch! Cairn system requirementsStory In the game, you play as Aava, a mountaineer trying to reach the summit with minimal health damage. First, we must plan the route and prepare the equipment. Once we set off, we must monitor our effort level and adjust our position to the conditions along the way. As is usually the case in the wilderness, not all dangers can be predicted, so sometimes you will have to improvise. The game also offers a narrative layer. On the way to the summit, we meet various characters who share their stories and make our rest breaks more enjoyable. "Manage your resources — hooks, chalk, and finger tape, as well as food, water, and medicine — to survive the long climb. Set up camps and explore the mountain to find the resources you need to reach the summit," reads the Cairn description. Gameplay In Cairn, the action is seen from a third-person perspective. During the climb, we have complete freedom to choose our path. At the foot of each wall, we must carefully examine it to plan our ascent, considering the rock formations and our own skills and equipment. The game gives us full control over our character's movements, allowing us to smoothly control their arms and legs. Thanks to this, we can always find the best, most stable holds. Additionally, to avoid falling, we must choose the right posture, maintain balance, and monitor the effort indicator. Of course, Aava and Marco can climb using more than just their limbs. They have equipment to help them reach the summit, such as hooks driven into the wall. It's worth remembering these because if we lose our grip, they may be our last resort. They also have chalk and special tapes for wrapping our fingers, which makes it easier to hold on to the rocks. Additionally, the game incorporates survival elements: we can regenerate our strength by camping, our characters must eat and drink during the climb, and they can use medicine to treat ailments. Game modes In addition to the Story Mode, in which we play as Aava, Cairn offers Expedition Mode. In Expedition mode, we can take control of Marco and conquer other peaks. First, we choose our climbing style (alpine or free solo) and the challenges we want to take on. Then, we can compare our achievements with the results of other players. Successful launch! One day after its release, the game has received positive reviews and high player activity. Over the past 24 hours, more than 9,500 users have played simultaneously, which is considered a success for such an unassuming title. Players appreciate Cairn for how it combines challenging mechanics and a high level of difficulty with a relaxing, even meditative, atmosphere. This is all thanks to the soundtrack and picturesque landscapes that make climbing more enjoyable. "The gameplay is challenging and intense, and the survival and resource management mechanics are addictive. It's one of the few games where I enjoyed delving into the story fragments discovered in documents scattered around the map," writes one player. Mafia: The Old Country download for free for PC

The new instalment of the cult Mafia series is coming... slowly and elegantly, like a combustion-powered Tudor with a lupara on the passenger seat. On 8 August 2025, Mafia: The Old Country will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X — a prequel that takes us back to the beginning. Set in Sicily in the early 20th century, it showcases sunshine, vineyards and the first steps in a world where saying "no" can be costly. Download Mafia: The Old Country for free right now!Want to be part of this family? Then start acting like it Plot: Once you're in, you're never really out Game world: here, it's survival of the fittest – or you'll end up with teeth in your neck! Game mechanics: Old methods? They never really leave you Gameplay: On a sunny day, you can momentarily forget what you're really doing Mafia: The Old Country system requirementsWant to be part of this family? Then start acting like it In a genre of gangster games where honour mixes with violence and loyalty is more valuable than gold, Mafia: The Old Country promises to take us back to the series' roots. Instead of modern metropolises, we have the picturesque yet perilous Sicily of the early 20^(th) century. It is here, amid olive groves and stone streets, that Enzo Fava's story begins – that of a young man who embarks on a life of crime in search of a better life. This single-player game is played from a third-person perspective. It was developed by Hangar 13 under the auspices of 2K Games, teams well known to fans of previous instalments in the series. Plot: Once you're in, you're never really out Enzo Fava is a young man from a Sicilian village who, like many before him, wants more than to pick olives and hide from the police. When he enters the world of the Torrisi family, he does not yet realise that 'family' encompasses more than shared meals and relatives in brocade. But let's be honest — you play the antihero of this early 20^(th)-century tale. Each chapter is a step further down the path of crime for Enzo. Along the way, you'll encounter unpredictable allies and ruthless enemies. This classic gangster story is set against the backdrop of the era's detailed realities, drawing you into the treacherous world of the Mediterranean. Once you get a taste of this world, you'll never want to leave. Game world: here, it's survival of the fittest – or you'll end up with teeth in your neck! Throughout the Mafia series, the settings have been as important as the main characters. Lost Heaven, Empire Bay and New Bordeaux were as important to the series' identity as Tommy, Vito or Lincoln. Mafia: The Old Country continues this trend by offering a new, memorable setting: early 20^(th)-century Sicily. Its unique topography provides a completely different experience to that of the dense American metropolises of previous instalments. The raw beauty of the Sicilian countryside, with its rural landscapes, cliffs and small towns, contrasts with the dirty alleys, but betrayal, violence and Mafia deals are still rife. As with every instalment of the series, authenticity was paramount in creating a believable world. The developers at Hangar 13 conducted exhaustive research, analysing rare photos and descriptions from the era and consulting books and films about the Sicilian mafia. Some of the team, accompanied by photographers, also travelled to Italy to gather additional material. They visited various locations, ranging from villages to cities, which were later recreated in the game. Game mechanics: Old methods? They never really leave you Unlike the third instalment, The Old Country does not offer an open world. It is a fully linear story, closer to Mafia I and Mafia II, in which each chapter sees you climb another rung of the mafia ladder – from errand boy to influential figure. But does anyone ever reach the top in stories like this? You have a selection of authentic pistols, rifles and shotguns (including the lupara!) at your disposal, as well as a knife. Hangar 13 studio has recreated the Sicilian fighting style especially for this game. You can either stab your enemies by surprise or take care of business quickly and loudly. Would you prefer to operate from the shadows? Go ahead. Or prefer a frontal attack? No one will mind – as long as you emerge unscathed. Gameplay: On a sunny day, you can momentarily forget what you're really doing The varied missions take place in settings ranging from Sicilian villages and family villas to the swampy hideouts of smugglers, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of The Godfather with a Palermo twist. Due to the location and time period, foot and horse patrols are commonplace, though some characters use vintage vehicles. You will visit a variety of locations, ranging from crypts and ruins to vineyards and lavish opera houses. Sometimes, you will have to flee the scene of the crime on horseback; at other times, you will have to escape in a vintage car along narrow gravel roads. The graphics are a nod to classic gangster cinema. The Old Country resembles an old photograph brought to life. Cigar smoke, hot light bulbs and ominous silence are commonplace here. And the music? An orchestra, a mandolin and a piano – every scene sounds like the final toast before the verdict is delivered. Grounded 2 is more than just a sequel; it's an expanded adventure that invites players back to dusty worlds where every plant could be either a shelter or a deadly trap. Prepare for a fresh take on survival exploration, where growth, cooperation and uncovering secrets are paramount. Check out the game for yourself and download Grounded 2 for free. The garden is seen from a microcosmic perspective Is this Survival 2.0? Game Preview – Development with Players How does it differ from the previous title? Grounded 2 system requirementsThe garden is seen from a microcosmic perspective Grounded 2 takes us to Brookhollow Park, a vast area full of the atmosphere of the early 1990s. The starting zone is already larger than the entire previous backyard, and new biomes, such as deserted ice cream stands and abandoned anthills, introduce diverse environments with unique conditions. This inevitably stimulates a sense of nostalgia, as well as curiosity and a desire to discover what lies behind the old signs and mysterious traces. The survival mechanics remain true to their roots, incorporating crafting, base building, combat and cooperation, but these are now complemented by brand new elements. Buggies, which we can tame and ride, radically change the way we move around the world, providing dynamic and exciting journeys. New monsters, such as cockroaches lurking in the shadows, can block attacks, making each encounter more challenging and rewarding. Is this Survival 2.0? Obsidian does not treat Grounded 2 as a simple sequel, but as an evolution of the experience. Combat 2.0 introduces dodges, smarter enemy behaviour and more varied combat patterns. All of these features make encounters more exciting and strategic. Whether you're playing alone or as part of a four-person team, each battle requires attention, planning and the ability to react quickly to your opponent's tactics. There will also be a character development system based on archetypes that allows you to customise your playstyle, whether by accessing new building options or discovering more effective ways to defeat larvae and creatures. The skill upgrades are promising, as evidenced by the community's keen interest. Game Preview – Development with Players Grounded showed in its first instalment that Obsidian knows how to listen to the community. Grounded 2 follows this formula: Game Preview launches on 29 July 2025 and will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), as well as through Game Pass. Although a PlayStation 5 version has not yet been announced, the first instalment was released on that console and it is likely that the second instalment will also be released on Sony's platform in the future. There is also a strong possibility that the game will appear on the Nintendo Switch 2. This stage of production is distinguished by a public roadmap, regular updates, and responsiveness to player feedback. Obsidian has announced that the initial stage will feature extensive content, including an elaborate storyline, systems and game structure, all of which are based on collective player decisions and suggestions. Now is the perfect time to join in, contribute, and watch the game develop live. How does it differ from the previous title? Grounded 2 promises to be an extraordinary emotional journey into the microcosm: bigger, more mature and open to the community. New locations, improved combat, rich character development and player interaction mean that the sequel is not only equal to, but potentially superior to, the original. The July Game Preview release will be a real treat for fans of survival adventures and those looking for fresh challenges. Grounded 2's graphics delight with colourful plants and detailed insects, while sounds such as the chirping of insects or the swaying of grass draw players deeper into the world. Whether you love survival games or playing with friends, Grounded 2 offers a smooth and enjoyable experience that builds on the magic of the original while introducing new challenges. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach download for free

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed original game, developed by Kojima Productions, an independent studio led by the legendary creator of the acclaimed Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima. This new instalment will once again transport us to a post-apocalyptic vision of the future, brimming with strange paranormal phenomena where the realm of the dead overlaps with the world of the living. If you want to experience the game for yourself, you've come to the right place – you can download Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for free here. So, what will Death Stranding 2 be about? Start with exploration! Gameplay There is more combat in this part Which actors will appear in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach? Death Stranding 2: On the Beach system requirementsSo, what will Death Stranding 2 be about? Judging by the enigmatic nature of the original Death Stranding, even those involved in the production are unlikely to be able to answer that question. The first game depicted the effects of an apocalypse, which prevented the souls of the dead from peacefully passing on to the afterlife. Instead, the dead were trapped in between worlds, taking the form of dangerous apparitions that hunted the living. The interaction between the two worlds caused gigantic explosions, destroying everything within a radius of many kilometres. This led to the collapse of civilisation and infrastructure as we know it, and the aim of the game was to rebuild connections by reuniting a devastated America. A significant plot twist was the theme of the mass extinction of species, which was ultimately averted. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set several years after the first instalment. We know that the title will take us to regions outside North America. This time, the main character, Sam, expands the range of the chiral network — the superior and essential element of the infrastructure of civilisation — as a member of a private organisation. At this point, no further information about the plot has been revealed. The only detail that has been revealed is that the game's story will address the question of whether we, as members of society, should be connected at all. Start with exploration! Hideo Kojima believes that his latest games belong to a new genre of 'strand games'. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will also follow this style. Players will find themselves in an open world, acting as couriers and carrying out orders between specific locations. By visiting places cut off from infrastructure and connecting them to the chiral network, players will rebuild society and human bonds simultaneously. Exploration and taking care of the cargo will be important during the game. There will be opportunities to travel by vehicle and build structures that help us to overcome difficult terrain. The game will also feature asynchronous social elements: during gameplay, players will encounter traces of others and be able to send them 'likes'. However, in case of danger, we will have to defend ourselves against enemies in combat using deadly weapons. Gameplay Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a sequel to the third-person action game and is set mainly in open-world environments in Mexico and Australia. The basis of the gameplay remains delivering packages to scattered settlements while overcoming difficult terrain and managing the load in your backpack. Players are given a vehicle that can be modified — for example, by adding batteries or gun turrets — to make the journey easier. The world reacts dynamically to natural disasters such as earthquakes and sandstorms, forcing players to alter their routes. A key element of the game is the reconstruction of infrastructure, including roads and bridges, and eventually the creation of a monorail system that connects isolated communities and enables the mass transport of goods. There is more combat in this part Death Stranding 2 places a greater emphasis on combat than the original game. Players can choose to confront enemies directly, use stealth tactics, or avoid them by exploring more difficult terrain. Sam has a wide arsenal of tools at his disposal with which to manipulate the attention of enemies, whose behaviour changes dynamically with the cycle of day and night. Progressing through the game unlocks upgrades to the Automated Porter Assistant system, which functions as a skill tree divided into three categories: combat, stealth and courier services. Sam's stats also grow organically — for instance, delivering packages more frequently improves his efficiency in this area. Which actors will appear in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach? As with the first game, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will feature highly cinematic characters and a film-like storyline. This is why many famous actors from Hollywood and beyond will once again appear in the game. We know that Léa Seydoux will reprise her role as Fragile. Nicolas Winding Refn (Heartman) and Norman Reedus, who lends his face and voice to the main character, will also be appearing. New roles will be played by actresses Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna, who will play Tomorrow and Rainy, respectively. The game will also feature George Miller as Tarman and Jonathan Roumie as Dollman. Rest assured that these are not the only celebrities involved in the project, and that there will be more famous faces in the full version. Dune: Awakening for free

Dune: Awakening for free

This is an MMO survival game set in an alternative version of the Dune universe where Paul Atreides never existed. Players must fight to survive on the desert planet Arrakis, exploring its dangerous terrain and competing for valuable resources. We are offering Dune: Awakening free of charge.Surviving in the desert Build, hunt and survive! You will need equipment, spice and... hallucinations? A sandy setting Dune: Awakening system requirementsIn Dune: Awakening, whose plot is an alternative version of the events from Frank Herbert's books and their film adaptations, you play as a convict who has been sent to Arrakis. Your mission: investigate mysterious disappearances and... survive. There is no time for long introductions or peaceful beginnings. From the very first minute, you will be thrown into the sand and forced to deal with basic problems such as thirst and lack of shelter, not to mention the constant threat of sandworms. Surviving in the desert The biggest novelty compared to classic MMORPGs is the strong emphasis on survival. As well as typical crafting and exploration, you will also have to take care of your character's condition. You must keep track of your thirst meter, avoid the sun, seek shelter during sandstorms and repair your suit. Sound familiar? Yes, it does. The developers were inspired by Valheim and other survival RPGs, but they also incorporated numerous elements characteristic of the Dune universe. First and foremost, there are giant worms that react to vibrations. The developers warn that if you run recklessly across the open sand, you won't survive for long. Every step could bring the wrath of nature down upon you. You can't win against a worm's jaws. Build, hunt and survive! Dune: Awakening features both combat and strategy. Players can build their own shelters and entire fortresses. They can also create guilds, trade and wage wars over spice. Harvesters will appear that you will need to place in the right locations and defend from other players and computer-controlled factions. Interestingly, the landscape of Arrakis will change dynamically. Sandstorms will shift dunes, revealing new areas and obscuring old ones. This means that the game map will never be static, so reaching hidden locations first will give you a significant advantage. You will need equipment, spice and... hallucinations? Filtraki, or water-filtering suits, are a key element of gameplay. They can be upgraded to help you survive harsh conditions more efficiently. As with weapons and other equipment, your success will depend on what you manage to create or find. As well as classic crafting, there will be a spice system — collecting and using spice will affect your character's stats and your perception. Spice can give you new abilities, but it can also distort your perception of reality. The developers have announced that you will be able to 'consume spices to overcome the limitations of the senses and gain new powers'. Psychedelic visions will not only be an addition, but also part of an extensive character development system. A sandy setting The game engine enables smooth movement across vast spaces and real-time environmental changes. The graphics are impressive – they're not photorealistic, but they're stylish and atmospheric. Storms, dust, a fiery sky and the vastness of the world are all rendered beautifully. There is also a full day-and-night cycle and dynamic weather. Fans of the Dune universe should be satisfied. A large group of players started their adventure a little earlier (one of the perks of owning the more expensive editions). The initial reviews suggest that this is a hit. Solid recommendations are pouring in from the Steam platform. Currently, Dune: Awakening has been rated over 11,400 times, with 88% of reviews being positive. Data from SteamDB also suggests that players enjoy the gameplay: at its peak, over 117,000 players were registered simultaneously.
