An important novelty is the constructor mode, in which we can design our own rally car from scratch, starting with the chassis and engine components and ending with the personalization of various external and internal details of the machine (including body colors developed with the help of the paint editor). In this way, we will create a machine designed to compete in the WRC, WRC2 or Junior WRC classes. Large selection of cars and race tracks We can compete in 18 locations on more than 200 special sections with a total length of over 600 kilometers, consisting of roads with asphalt, gravel or snow surfaces. The game features locations from the current WRC season, as well as a few from past years. There are 78 rally cars at our disposal - 10 current models with authentic teams, drivers and colors (in the Rally1, WRC2 and Junior WRC classes) and 68 machines of various types that have gone down in the history of this motorsport discipline, such as Group B legends or front-wheel drive so-called kit cars from the 1990s. Last Train Home is a real-time strategy (RTS) game based on real events with a strong emphasis on the survival element. The plot of the game Last Train Home takes us to the realities of the Russian Civil War - an armed conflict that took place in 1917-1922, in which the armies of the Reds (Communists or Bolsheviks) and the Whites (all organizations striving to restore Tsarism) fought for power in the country. The player controls the actions of the soldiers of the Czechoslovak Legion - a real military formation formed during the First World War from prisoners and deserters of Czech and Slovak nationality who had previously belonged to the Austro-Hungarian army. The unit was caught on the wrong side of the conflict. Our task is to help them return to their homeland on the last train of the title. The tank depot serves both as a means of transportation for the soldiers through the wild, desolate, hostile terrain of Siberia - with only a little protection from the pervasive cold - and as a weapon to fight the two armies that are tearing the country apart. Game mechanics Evacuating Russia requires many stops - sometimes you run out of food or medicine, sometimes the train breaks down and you need to find a way to repair it. This is where Last Train Home becomes an RTS. The game offers more than a dozen challenging missions in which we - choosing our own tactics - have to achieve a series of predetermined goals. The ease or difficulty of achieving them depends on a number of factors. One of them is the combat potential of our soldiers - if we send them out hungry, they will be less effective than if they go out with a full stomach. The tactics we choose are also important. Some tasks can be done "quietly", reducing the likelihood of Legion members dying in battle. However, not everyone is cut out for this, so you must consider your charges' dispositions. Your decisions matter The deaths of misfits or other morally ambiguous decisions we make will manifest themselves in various statuses that affect gameplay. For example, we can decide the fate of several innocent civilians by taking them with us or not. In the first case, we will have more "mouths to feed". In the second case, our charges will develop remorse, which will have a negative effect on their morale. The title train acts as a sort of base camp. Between missions, we can repair and modify it, assigning soldiers to specific tasks - such as caring for the wounded - to ensure the best possible living conditions. This is also where we improve our troops - warriors can be decorated, and by participating in training they gain new skills (e.g. herbalism or hunting) - and equip them with better equipment acquired during missions. At each stage of this strange odyssey, we learn the stories of the soldiers under command. Their experiences also affect the gameplay - for example, projecting a tendency to depression or how they evaluate our decisions. However, Ashborne Games Studio has taken care to keep such "effects" to a minimum, so that players who want to complete Last Train Home solely for the story will not be discouraged by too high a difficulty level. Trivia Since the game is based on real events, the developers have tried to keep the game in line with historical facts. Hundreds of characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Obi Wan Kenobi, are put at our disposal. Together with them, we traverse locations, fight enemies and solve simple puzzles. Although, in principle, the gameplay formula remained unchanged, the developers introduced some modifications and additional attractions. We can freely fly ships (including the iconic Millennium Falcon) in space, as well as land on selected planets in many different locations. A considerable novelty is the combat system. The developers have developed mechanics that allow even the youngest players to play, while leaving room for more skilled players. Game modes In keeping with the traditions of the series, in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga we can play both alone and together with a friend in co-op mode. In addition to the dense forest, a river with picturesque waterfalls or a vast beach, there are caves bathed in darkness, waiting to be plundered by the brave. Since living here is no idyll, survival aspects and an extensive crafting system play an important role. If you want to get food, you must first gather wood from which you can make a makeshift weapon. The raw materials, which we have in abundance around us, are also used to build a real base camp (we are talking about a multi-story structure surrounded by a palisade; the tarpaulin stretched on poles can only serve as a roof over our heads for the time being). As for weapons, a simple spear or even a knife will be enough to kill non-aggressive animals (such as turtles), but to defend ourselves against mutants, not to mention venturing deep into their territories, we will need murderous tools of a much larger caliber. First and foremost, we're talking about the firearms that come into our hands over time. But even with a stun gun or a powerful Gifle, be careful, because mutants rarely attack alone. As if that weren't enough, in addition to the serial individuals, twisted and increasingly powerful creatures will soon stand in your way, and defeating them is a much greater challenge. The plot of the game The beginning of the game follows the canon of the series and shows the fate of police officer Rick Grimes, who wakes up from a coma in an abandoned hospital. It soon becomes clear that the world he knows has changed drastically, and bloodthirsty corpses (called stalkers) are running rampant through the streets of the cities. The protagonist joins a group of survivors to fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic setting where the living are still the biggest threat. Game Mechanics In The Walking Dead: Destinies, we observe the action from a third-person perspective, and throughout the game we have the opportunity to take on characters familiar to fans of the series. In addition to Rick, the cast also includes Glenn, Shane, Daryl and Michonne, with each character distinguished by their available abilities. The Walking Dead: Destinies also sees the return of series locations, including the city of Atlanta, the Greene family farm, a prison in West Georgia and Woodbury, commanded by the apodictic Governor. During gameplay, we will sneak among enemies and take part in direct combat. In the latter, we'll use an arsenal of firearms and melee weapons (including Michonne's iconic katana and Daryl's crossbow). The heroes show off their parkour skills, which allow them to quickly overcome obstacles in the terrain and climb elements of the environment, while on the battlefield they use both melee and ranged weapons and gadgets such as bombs. The fights are dynamic and we have to use our dexterity and reflexes to efficiently block and parry blows and launch accurate attacks. There is also the possibility to sneak up on enemies and silently eliminate them with a hidden blade. The developers have made an effort to adapt the game to the peculiarities of virtual reality sets. The title allows us to automate parkour and activate the teleport-based system of moving around the locations. In addition, there are filters that limit the field of view, as well as a feature designed for people who are afraid of heights, which imposes a special "grid" on the image when the character is, for example, on the roof of a tall building.
